Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that I am going out of town for Turkey day. I am very excited about it. But soooo much to do before we go. We leave Wednesday afternoon and will be back on Sunday. Just a short trip. Will probably be long enough for the kiddos. I want you guys to enjoy time with your families. The newest kit is due out this weekend. Other than that I got nothing for you. I do know that there are so crazy sales going on this weekend in digi land....so stay in your jammies all day and go shopping!!!

What are you all doing for Thanksgiving??

My small family of 4 goes to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving meal then home for football and naps. Smile All of our family lives in Virginia and we are in Texas so no big Thanksgiving for us...I hope that means lots of scrapping time for me this week.

I am over in Midland, we are neighbors. As much of a neighbor you can be in TX. We have only driven through San Antonio, we are planning on going over there in the spring for my son's 8th birthday. My parents are coming with us, they are in Utah and so we are very excited. How fun!!

Somehow I always end up at a store on Black Friday. Last year it wasn't planned, but the baby woke us up at 5am and we decided to go to walmart lol (without baby, we were at my grandparents house and they watched the girls).

We ended up at the store last year too. But we did not do the die hard 3 am thing. My husband had two brother that were here with their wives and we left all the kids with them and we went to walmart. I wanted to get some pjs for Christmas and thought why not, I needed some other stuff anyway. We went at 2 in the afternoon. Not really any crowds and I got exactly what I wanted. What is funny though is that we parked over by the tire change place and they had tvs stashed in the tire garage...so funny!!! I wonder if they remembered they were there. Or maybe they were bringing them out later. Not sure. But if I could go and get what I wanted like that every year I wouldn't mind doing it.

Target and Kohl's have deals later on in the day and they are never crowded either!!! We decided to get the oldest an ipod last year and walmart was having a pretty good deal, plus we were n the little town of rockport, so we were back home by 5:30....just in time for a quick nap lol

We will be going to DH's parents' house for T-day. I usually cook my husband a turkey so that we can have turkey sandwiches. Other than that we don't do anything huge at our home...less mess! Smile

DH wanted to do black friday shopping, but there wasn't anyone to watch the kids and we are NOT taking a 4yo and a 23mo with us!
